Shipping Policy

How long does it take for my order to be shipped?

  • Orders take 1-3 business days to be shipped (weekends not included). If orders are placed on a holiday, it will be processed the next business day. We do not ship orders on the weekends to avoid package delays.

How long does it take for my order to arrive to me?

  • It takes 2-5 business days to arrive after it has been shipped and also based on the shipping option chosen at checkout.
  • Deliveries are made through USPS & UPS and we provide tracking information to your email immediately once your package is shipped, however you may need to allow 12 to 24 hours after your order has been shipped for the tracking information to be readily updated.

 

 Our seamoss gel products are freshly made to order and are shipped frozen on dry ice in insulated packages so that it arrives securely and also to ensure maximum shelf life. Although our products are shipped on ice, Barefoot Daze Essentials doesn't want to take the risk of spoilage due to postal carrier shipping delays. Keep in mind that eventually the dry ice will melt.

It is a PERISHABLE ITEM so please REFRIGERATE OR FREEZE IMMEDIATELY ON ARRIVAL!!!

If 2 or more jars are ordered please store extra jars in the freezer (shelf life = 6 months) and the jar that will be in use in the refrigerator (shelf life = 4-6 weeks)

The sea moss gel is “thermo-reversible”, meaning it is not harmed by freezing and thawing multiple times.

  • To ensure you're paying the most cost effective price, shipping is calculated depending upon weight and location. 
  • Enter in your information at checkout to see the exact cost. 

How do I track my package?

Tracking information will be sent automatically via email. You may also track your package here on the site in your account, where we will provide live updates. There is also an option for you to choose notifications through the Shop App (powered by Shopify) on the status of your package's journey.

Do you ship internationally?

Sorry, we do not as yet but we are working on it, WE PROMISE !!!

 

 DAMAGED/LOST PACKAGES

Although we take extra precaution to ensure your package is delivered safely and securely and with no damage to it, we cannot guarantee that it will arrive in perfect condition due to the Postal Service delivery conditions. Once the package/s has been updated as "delivered" by the shipping carrier, risk of damages to, or loss of the item is forwarded to the recipient. You will have to file a claim with USPS. By purchasing from our website you agree to these terms. 

Once you receive a tracking number it is your responsibility to contact the post office about issues regarding your package. Although we would love to greatly support you, we have no information about your package once given to the post office as they would be of better assistance to you.

Barefoot Daze Essentials ensures the delivery of the product to the address submitted at the time of purchase. Should the customer fail to give the correct address to Barefoot Daze Essentials, neither B.D.E and the delivery services shall be in no way liable or required to issue a resend. Barefoot Daze Essentials does not take responsibility for stolen packages once they have been labeled "Delivered" by the post office carrier. You will have to place a reorder.
